Janus by G. O. Clark

The man in the Moon
looks down upon all mankind,
his pot marked face accentuated
by distant sunlight,

while on the dark side,
his alter ego coldly gazes out into
the depths of space, sinister
designs in mind,

the machinery of fate
waiting out there for his command
to jump across space and time,
and rescind all myths.
