Black Hole

Black hole,
relinquish your secrets—
are you nothing,
or are you something more?
Do you sit on the edge
of time and space
like madness behind the door;
as from your ominous keep
the Sirens of Circe sing,
and the flowers of being weep
for some future brave Ulysses
who steers well near your shore—
to be swallowed in oblivion,
a wormhole of dark delirium?
Black hole,
relinquish your secrets–
does madness prowl behind your door?
Are you nothing,
or are you something more?
